Puppy Blankets

We all know how young toddlers are attached to their "blankies." They feel a sense of comfort when their blankets are in reach. Blankets are also the perfect objects for snuggling. Well, the same goes for puppies. Providing your puppy with its own personal blanket forms a sense of security and comfort for your new pup. The warm, familiar smell of your puppy's blanket will make it feel safer while it is transitioning into a new home and family. A puppy blanket has many uses along with providing comfort. You can place your puppy's blanket on its dog bed so that it has a warm, cozy place to go to during naptime. An example of a soft and stylish puppy blanket is the Plush Camo Puppy Blanket. This blanket is handmade with two layers of ultra-soft plush to provide your puppy with the ultimate comfort. You can get it in three camouflage-styled colors for $29 dollars. Another use of a puppy blanket is that it can be placed at the bottom of your dog's crate. In this case, it's best to use an old blanket because your puppy will probably have a messy crate while it is in training. If you are worried about your puppy's new blanket getting ruined, you can try only placing it in the crate overnight and put training pads at the bottom of the crate during the day. This way, your puppy can sleep comfortably while having fewer opportunities to ruin its blanket. You can also use a puppy blanket if you have a pet carrier so that your dog can feel cozier while it is traveling with you.

Many suggest giving an organic blanket to your dog or puppy. Organic blankets are safe and nontoxic. Also, they tend to be softer than cotton blankets due to the organic materials. The Simply Fido Organic Blanket is only about three dollars more than the Plush Camo blanket. Furthermore, if you want a real bargain and a safe blanket for your puppy, the Snuggle Bear blanket is a great deal. Not only is it organic, but it only costs about $5 bucks! Another great thing about this blanket is that it has a squeaky toy attached to it. This is a perfect combo because your puppy can be comfortable and safe while having a toy to play with. The Snuggle Bear allows your pup to be entertained in its crate or carrier while playing with the attached squeaky toy. This is wonderful because you won't have to worry about losing the toy or having it fall out.

There are also some "high-end" puppy blankets that also function like sleeping bags. The Snuggle Pup is ideal for newborn puppies that need to feel safe and comfortable, especially if they were recently separated from their mother. When using it like sleeping bag, zip it up on the side; or if you prefer to use it like a blanket, just leave it unzipped. However, you may want to be cautious of your young puppy not to get injured by the zipper. These stylish blankets are faux fur and come in prints such as cheetah, chinchilla, mink, and leopard. You can purchase these luxurious blankets at www.teacupspuppies.com/dogblankets.html. The Snuggle Pup costs about $30 dollars.
