Our Rotti/Lab cross puppy!

As always my husband has to be silly when we try to name our dogs. We have had several rottweilers. Bo was just a little rotti, and Goliath we named because the kids were in love with the old cartoon Gargoyles and the lead character was Goliath. After Bo passed away we needed a new puppy because Goliath was 7 and really didnt want to do many things anymore. He needed a playmate. So after a lengthy search we found a rotti/lab cross puppy. His coloring is all rotti but there is sure lab in there too. He loves to play in water. I bought the puppy right then! We were in the car driving to our friends house close by to show off our new baby, and my husband was once again trying to name a rotti Fluffy (ack!!). I couldnt let that happen. We were listening to our local rock station on the radio as we drove and inspiration just hit me. Hendrix! My husband is a huge fan of Jimmy Hendrix so I knew he wouldnt shoot that name down. Our little man Hendrix is 6 years old now and still acts like a puppy. He's happy, and healthy and just loves to get out and have a great time!
