Cheap Ways to Get Puppy Products
Our country's economic situation is evidently affecting most citizens. Money is tight right now and we are all looking for less costly ways to get by. Most of us, including puppy owners, have an exponential amount of expenses. Vet visits alone can cost a fortune. As a puppy owner, you probably worry about wasting money on invaluable puppy products. Many pet stores and websites overprice their dog crates, food, puppy clothes, flea medicine and other products. You should look for items that are worth your money and beneficial to your puppy. There are ways of getting cheap puppy products if you look at the right places. Firstly, I would suggest subscribing to a website called, Groupon.com. Although the coupons they offer are not always geared towards pet supplies, you can sometimes find amazing deals on puppy products. In addition to this website, try researching for other coupon sites that send deals from a variety of pet supply websites. Usually, these websites update you for great deals by email. Furthermore, auction websites, such as eBay or Amazon, are a great way of winning puppy products for a low price. Many people save money because it is usually free to join the website and bid on an item. All you need is a credit card. Moreover, look for supplies that are high in quality. Even if you are paying a little more for something, it could be more worth it because it will probably last longer and be better for your puppy. For example, it's wiser to spend a little more money on buying a comfortable harness for your pup rather than a cheaper collar. Use your puppy's vet to inform you about the most efficient brands and products. Also, ask your fellow puppy owning friends about what products they would recommend for you to buy for your puppy.
Another way of saving money is by checking and comparing various online pet supply stores. For example, the flea medicine, Frontline Plus, is cheaper on Costco's website ($37.99) than Petco (starting at $39.99). There are also websites like shopzilla.com, bizrate.com, and coupon.com that show you comparisons of various websites' prices. Also, if you don't mind having used products, craigslist.com has great offers at times. Some suggest that pricegrabber.com lists the lowest and most accurate prices. There is a category on the website called, "free stuff," where people post items that are no longer of use to them. Many times, people throw out their dog's old crates or doggy houses that they no longer need. They usually place the items outside of their home for someone to pick it up. This is a great way to save money on shipping if the person lives nearby. Evidently, the internet is a great resource for finding cheap puppy products. However, if you want to save some money on your credit card bill or you prefer to use cash, check out stores such as Target, Wal-Mart, and Costco. These super stores are reputable for fair prices. Also, Costco is a good place to buy in bulk if you don't have the time to go shopping too often.
