Foster's Story

Two years ago, when my family adopted an Australian Shepherd, we spent days trying to find just the right dog name for our new friend. Rudy, the temporary name given to him by his foster home, didn't suit him or us. We initially settled on Finnegan, as a tribute to our Irish roots. But after a day of calling "Finnegan, -agan, -agan" I soon realized we needed a new name!

Finally, I suggested Foster. It works perfectly, both as a token to Foster's Aussie background (in retrospect, maybe it was all about the beer) and a reminder of how he came into our lives.
